Actua Golf 2, known as Fox Sports Golf '99 in the US, is a 1997 golf video game of the Actua Sports series developed by Gremlin Interactive for the PlayStation and Microsoft Windows. It is the sequel to Actua Golf and was followed by Actua Golf 3 in 1998.
Actua Golf 2 displayed a progression in golf simulation at the time and was noted for its hi-resolution graphics on the six courses that featured in the game such as Oxfordshire Golf Club, Kiawah Island Ocean Course and Carnoustie Links. Actua Golf 2 also featured notable commentary from Peter Alliss and Alex Hay full of witty phrases, often relying on sarcastic criticism when the player performs poor shots.
The game also had a driving range practice option and the ability to replay shots using multiple camera angles.
There are several characters including RozDom III which you can unlock. This will allow you to play the character and drive the ball around 400 yeards. At certain points in the game, if you enter XOXOBAB Another character called Moker would appear next to RozDom III at the green and give a helping hand with the putting. This only happened rarely.
